Farm cottage Bed and Breakfast nestles in a peaceful valley on our cattle breeding property.

Farm Cottage is halfway between Sydney and Brisbane, 10kms off the New England Highway, 40 minutes north of Tamworth and 60 minutes south of Armidale.

You will start your day waking up to birdcalls, views of rolling hills and the morning sun filtering through gumtrees. You can enjoy an early morning “cuppa” on your sun-drenched verandah and watch the cows and calves grazing. Or have a hit of tennis and relax in the tranquil gardens.

After dark, enjoy the beauty of the stars in the clear country sky.

Breakfast is the delicious part of your experience and is served in the garden. Breakfast consists of juice, fruit, cereal, free range eggs, bacon or smoked salmon, fresh herbs straight from the garden with our own fig or plum jams and a selection of tea or freshly ground plunger coffee. Where possible we use local produce. Alternatively, a breakfast basket can be left in the cottage to have at your leisure.

Dinners are available and if you are celebrating an anniversary or birthday, a romantic candlelit dinner can be served in the cottage. (We do require 72 hours’ notice for dinner please).

Accommodation

The self-contained cottage includes a comfortable Queen-sized bedroom and a single bed in the loungeroom. Kitchen facilities include an electric oven, microwave, medium size fridge and all cooking and eating implements. A gas barbecue is also on site.

All linen, towels, doonas, blankets, fans, heaters, hairdryer, iron and toiletries are provided along with a selection of teas and plunger coffee. The loungeroom has a comfortable lounge suite, a CD player, books and magazines.

Farm Cottage is non-smoking and environmentally friendly.
